Our approach at GASSNER & GASSNER is one of genuine concern for your family matter. We try to get the parties to negotiate and mediate their issues. When that is not possible we are aggressive.

We are available to provide consultation services to those individuals interested in pursuing or defending their legal rights.

Since every case depends upon the Court's view of our client's responses to questions, we prefer to consult in person. Legal advice requires gaining an accurate assessment of facts, which can be difficult to obtain by telephone or e-mail. We also wish to protect the privacy of your information.

We occasionally consult by telephone in situations involving great urgency. Telephone Consultations are also available for our prospective clients who live more than 100 miles from our office.

Please identify the issues that you wish to discuss during your consultation. Bring all legal papers that you wish for us to review. The purpose of a consultation is to establish rapport, identify legal issues to be addressed, and determine any further work to be done. If you ask to hire our firm, then a retainer will be proposed and a written fee agreement will be entered.

All consultations are confidential. But California Law does not create an attorney client relationship merely by consulting with us. We do not represent clients who have not signed written fee agreements. For that reason we discourage bringing confidential documents or physical evidence to your first appointment.
